All of us suffer from the feelings of unhappiness, stress or low mood at some stage in our lives. At this stage, we may feel lonely, guilty and hopeless. These feelings come and go. However, If you feel these emotions and feelings are too strong and continuously interfering with a sense of feeling well, reaching out to someone can be a way forward to regain your sense of wellbeing.
Counselling & Psychotherapy (terminology I use interchangeably), aims to attend to psychological experiences within a trusting professional therapeutic relationship between the therapist and you, the client.
Therapy can help those in distress find constructive and helpful ways to engage deeply and fully with the challenges that life brings. You might need a couple of sessions focused on a particular issue you want to resolve. My work can also support you to make that important decision that might be holding you back.
In the dialogue during our work you will find a safe and calm environment, where you can feel at ease to explore how you create meaning in your life. Together we will attend to all the elements of your experience you are currently dealing with.
